As a frequent scuba diving and instructor I try to look around the web to see what other dive shops in the area are doing. Maybe someone has a good promotion that I can "borrow" or a class that I would like to take that my dive shop does not offer. To do this I had created a list of links / bookmarks that I browse once in a while. Mine are mostly dive shops and dive spots in and around Virginia.

Recently I stumbled upon a website which does directory listings for scuba shops. This website, www.dmoz.org is a user created and edited directory listing that is then used by AOL, Google, and The Internet Archive, etc. After seeing how useful it was I decided to become the editor for Virginia scuba diving section of the directory.
